2007 Shark Bay Fishing Fiesta

This annual Fishing Event will start on 5-11 May 2007. It is open to all types of amateur anglers fishing from either beach or boat.

There is an Open Section and separate sections for both Ladies and Juniors. There are 13 species categories and 10 special categories.

Everyone has a chance of winning a prize. Don't miss out!

Speedway Club

The annual Far Western Championships which ia an invitation meeting and attracts between 80 - 100 competitors from all divisions around the state. This event is held on the middle Saturday of july school holidays. So the actual date varies from year to year. Included in the week end is a Street parade on the Friday and a social golf event on the Sunday. This Speedway meeting has become one of the states Blue Ribbon events, attracting the best competitors from each division.
