HOW DO I GET TO SHARK BAY?

Skippers Aviation has started four (4) regular flights a week to Monkey Mia/Shark Bay via Kalbarri. Local call: 1300 729 924 or www.skippers.com.au

For travel between towns in the Pilbara and Kimberley regions, there is a charter company available to assist with your travel requirements. Planes are also available for quick transport to the remote areas of the Shark Bay Region, Coral Bay and Exmouth. Need more information, please contact the Denham & Monkey Mia Visitor Centre.

BY ROAD

From Perth, visitors take the North West Coastal Highway via Geraldton to the Overlander Roadhouse turn-off (704km from Perth) . 
From the North follow the North West Coastal Highway south from Carvarvon to the Overlander Roadhouse turn-off (200km from Carnarvon).
From here simply take the bitumen road along parts of the peninsular and follow the signs to Monkey Mia and Denham.

Greyhound Australia operate a daily service to/from Perth and Darwin.

Coaches will drop passengers off at the Overlander Roadhouse.  To continue on to the only town of  Denham or Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort in Shark Bay, you will need to make arrangements for a shuttle service. To do this, log in to www.carhhire.net.au
