Walk Trails

Cycling - An active way to see Denham. Ride along the beachfront to Little Lagoon or Ocean Park.

Bird Watching
Bird Watching on Peron Peninsula.  Upwards of 230 bird species are found in Shark Bay.

4WD in Francois Peron National Park and see Herald Bight, Skipjack Point Lookout, Bottle Bay, Gregories, Cattle Well, Cape Peron and Big Lagoon. Visit Steep Point - the most westerly location of Australias mainland. Car and 4WD hire available at Denham & Monkey Mia.

Take in the perspective of 2.2 million hectares of World Heritage Area from the air. Spectacular bays, islands and inlets with their myriad of marine life bordered by white shell beaches, crimson landscapes and torquoise waters. Simply stunning.

Explore Bar Flats, Heirisson and Bellefin shoals or head towards Dirk Hartog Island, Turtle Bay and Cape Inscription.
